Research and Sky Science

May everyone have a restful and delightful Teacher's Convention (Thursday and Friday, February 11th -12th) and Family Day (Monday, February15th)!

As we move from studying our government structures and systems, we were building knowledge of democracy so that we can explore Ancient Athens and the Iroquois Confederacy. We will be delving into these topics after Family Day. In mathematics we are exploring more deeply into the meaning of fractions to help us understand the processes of converting mixed numbers to improper fractions, and improper fractions into mixed numbers. In Science we are preparing to conclude or Sky Science investigations as we look forward to moving into air and aerodynamics.
